Rhino Jiu Jitsu Academy was founded by Professor Henrique ​(Grandão) in Praia Grande, São Paulo, Brazil, with the vision of ​providing high-quality education for children and teenagers. ​His mission is to use BJJ as a tool to transform lives. Professor ​Ismael Batista, the second black belt promoted by Professor ​Henrique, shares this vision and aims to bring this ​methodology to Indonesia, establishing Batam as a hub for ​BJJ. Both Rhino Brazil and Rhino Indonesia are deeply ​involved in social projects aimed at underprivileged children ​and teenagers, with the goal of turning them into professional ​athletes and positively changing their lives.

BJJ All Levels

BJJ All Levels is ​intended for all ​groups, without age ​or gender limits, ​very good for ​training and ​learning further ​techniques.

"Empowerd Girl" is our course focused on women's ​self- defense through Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu (BJJ). In the ​world we live in, where one in three women falls victim ​to abuse, personal defense is indispensable. In ​"Empowerd Girl" you will not only learn techniques ​that are valuable for your defense but also gain ​insights into how to prevent becoming a victim of an ​abuser. Our methodology involves identifying ​locations, situations, and contexts where potential ​abuse may occur and understanding how to react ​both physically and psychologically with clarity and ​precision. Through a progressive lesson plan and a ​clear schedule, you will acquire knowledge in each ​class and visualize your objectives.
